GHOSTRIDE Hard At Work On Full-Length Debut
July 16, 2004GHOSTRIDE, the Sacramento-based band featuring former members of WILL HAVEN, TINFED and ODDMAN, have been holed up in their studio writing "tons of new songs" for the band's full-length debut, according to a posting on the group's web site. "In the meantime we have been doing things to get ready for the next few months. We have signed a licensing deal with Plastichead/Golf Records in Europe. The full-length will be released September 6th in Europe and US. It will have 10 new songs. It is coming out amazing, best work we have ever done. I have heard through the grapevine that a song off it, 'Rotten Pig Iron', is getting some rotation on the radio which is pretty cool. We are also working on our first major tour. We will be hitting the UK and Europe on a headlining tour in Sept/Oct with OCTOBERFILE and THE BLUEPRINT. Should be an awesome tour, we will have dates for you as soon as we get them. We also got the new 7-inchs in which have 'Diamondhawk' and 'Whistle N Tailpipe' on it. Only 222 were pressed so these are very limited. We will be selling them at shows and might throw a few up online. Also the video for 'Diamondhawk' is done and will be online to view very shortly. It turned out insane."
Upcoming GHOSTRIDE shows:
Jul. 17 - Underground Café - Roseville, CA
Jul. 31 - Boardwalk, Sacramento, CA
